bohemea: Viggo with TJ, one of the horses who played Hidalgo on the set of Hidalgo. Viggo is looking at TJ so lovingly! Viggo bought TJ after the movie finished filming. In 2004 Viggo published a photography book titled The Horse is Good about horses as partners, teachers, and fellow travelers. The book was partly shot during his work on Hidalgo & features images Viggo took of horses in Morocco, South Dakota, Montana, Iceland, New Zealand, Denmark, Brazil, and Argentina. In addition to TJ, Viggo also bought Uraeus, the horse who played Brego, Aragorn’s steed in The Lord of the Rings trilogy. He also purchased Florian, the stallion that played Arwen’s horse & gave the horse to Jane Abbott, Liv Tyler’s stunt woman. I wish Viggo would buy me a horse. We could go riding together & make love in a field or something real romantic like that. You know what, never mind the horse, I’m going to focus on the field sex.
